The American Diabetes Association is the nation's leader is funding the effort to Stop Diabetes. An impressive 73% of every dollar spent supports research, advocacy, and services for people affected by diabetes. Join our effort by participating in one or more of our exciting local signature events.
Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes
Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes is the signature fundraising walk of the American Diabetes Association. With the help of millions of participants, the event has raised more than $175,000,000 to Stop Diabetes within the last 20 years! More than 120,000 participants from 120 walk events across the country came together last year to raise over $24 million.
The Puget Sound area offers two Step Out walks, including one in Seattle and one in the South Sound (in Tacoma). Do you walk and are you interested in helping support our fight to Stop Diabetes? Then register for one of these walks in 2014!

Tour de Cure
The Seattle Tour de Cure is our signature fundraising cycling event starting and finishing at the beautiful Chateau Ste. Michelle. The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. Whether you ride 10 miles or 100 miles, you will travel a route supported from start to finish with rest stops, food to fuel the journey and fans to cheer you on! This event is marked by gorgeous scenery and a festive atmosphere for the whole family! Grab your bike and register today.
Father of the Year
Through an unique partnership with the Father's Day Council, the Father of the Year Award recognizes men that have made family a priority, while balancing a demanding career and community involvement. The more than $35 million that has been raised to date from Father of the Year Events will help the American Diabetes Association fund essential research, education and advocacy.
