Health Fairs and Speakers Bureau
We focus on community outreach by attending local health fairs and various events to raise public awareness about the prevalence of diabetes. Please contact us about your health fair, and we will either provide materials for your health fair or be there in person.
The Speakers Bureau is a network of dedicated advocates in place to aid the Association in achieving its mission through speaking engagements and lunch & learns within the community. The Bureau is comprised of volunteers, medical professionals, health care providers, community leaders and more, all providing a broad range of backgrounds and experiences to facilitate both public and professional accessibility.
For specific health fair requests, speaking engagements or to become a member of the Speakers Bureau, please contact us at ADAGreaterIL@diabetes.org or 217-875-9011 ext. 6640.
