A Day in the Life of Diabetes by Jay Dickman
During American Diabetes Month® this November, the American Diabetes Association launched a socially-focused initiative, “A Day in the Life of Diabetes,” to demonstrate the increasing impact diabetes has on our families and communities nationwide.
As part of this campaign, Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Jay Dickman, volunteered his time and talent to photograph three individuals who are living with diabetes - giving us an up-close and personal glimpse into their daily lives and showing us what “A Day in the Life of Diabetes” means to them.
