Choosing what to eat is an important part of your day, especially if you are managing diabetes. Recipes for Healthy Living is our online resource, created to make eating healthy easier for you. Through our free e-newsletter you’ll have access to healthy recipes (including gluten free recipes), one-day meal plans, cooking videos, and other healthy eating tips. Our meal plans and recipes are not only diabetes-friendly, but they are also healthy and delicious enough that the whole family will enjoy them.

Living with Type 2 Diabetes

This 12-month program, also available in Spanish, includes five themed informational packets to help you learn to live well with type 2 diabetes. The program includes: healthy recipes; a monthly e-newsletter with tips and stories; three free issues of our award-winning magazine Diabetes Forecast; access to our online community; and the opportunity to receive personalized text messages from Care4life to help you learn healthy eating habits, remember medications and appointments and stay motivated.

My Health Advisor

After entering basic health information, My Health Advisor will calculate your risk for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. Once it calculates your risk, you can quickly see the difference lifestyle changes — such as losing weight or quitting smoking — can make. You will receive a personal action plan outlining suggestions for lowering your risk and when you're done, you can print out your results.

Diabetes 24/7 is a personal health record that allows you to manage your diabetes and share valuable health information with others on your health care team. This application integrates with Microsoft's HealthVault, which allows you to securely import data from your doctor, pharmacy or laboratory and share the data with anyone you choose, such as your doctor, a family member or a school nurse.
