Know Your Rights for Students with Diabetes: held February 5, 2014
Jointly hosted by the American Diabetes Association and the College Diabetes Network, covering the rights of college students who have diabetes, how the Disabilities Services Office can help and how students can advocate for themselves. Presenters included staff members of the American Diabetes Association and College Diabetes Network. This session is available to students with diabetes preparing to attend/attending college, parents/guardians, college administrators and anyone interested in the fair treatment of students who have diabetes.
The College Diabetes Network (CDN) is a national 501c3 non-profit organization, whose mission is to empower and improve the lives of students living with Type 1 diabetes through peer support and access to information and resources.
