About Camp Discovery

Camp Discovery is an American Diabetes Association residential camp offering young people with diabetes a week of fun. Opportunities such as outdoor recreation, arts and crafts, horseback riding, education and the excitement of developing close friendships with other campers and counselors make this a special place. This camp allows kids with diabetes to connect with others experiencing the same scenario while having funin a controlled environment. Camp Discovery is located in the WaShunGa area of Rock Springs 4H Center about 13 miles southwest of Junction City.

The American Diabetes Association is committed to providing educational information and referral services for children with diabetes and their families, advocating for fair and quality treatment of children with diabetes in schools, and increasing federal funding for diabetes research.
