Camp Aurora
About Camp Aurora
Camp Aurora is a day camp for children with diabetes. The program offers an exciting week of outdoor activities such as swimming, fishing, horseback riding and canoeing, while learning valuable lessons on positive diabetes management.
The American Diabetes Association is committed to providing educational information and referral services for children with diabetes and their families, advocating for fair and quality treatment of children with diabetes in schools, and increasing federal funding for diabetes research.
Camp Fees
Camp Fee: $110
Camp Fee for Cook Children's Endocrinology Patients: $40
Scholarships available for those with financial need.
Registration Deadline: May 24, 2013
Counselor-in-Traning (CIT) Information
CIT Ages: 13 to 17
CIT Registration Fee: Waived
CIT Deadline: May 3, 2013
Campers are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
