About Camp New Horizons South

Camp New Horizons South provides a special time for children with diabetes — one of the best times of the summer and campers will always remember. While attending camp, children will experience the fun of outdoor activities while learning valuable lessons on positive diabetes management. Our camp offers planned and supervised activities by health care professionals experienced in diabetes management and trained volunteers.

Three Lil GuysActivities includes swimming, field sports, fishing, petting zoo, pedal boats, power mountain, balloon blaster, bounce house, kid korral, crafts, diabetes education and much more. Camp concludes on Friday with a field day and a family picnic.

Additionally, a one-day parent conference allows caregivers an opportunity to learn from health professionals who provides up-to-date information on diabetes, research, family dynamics and other related topics. On Friday, a Vendor Product Fair provides family the latest equipment, products and suppliers on the market.
