Living with Diabetes

Often, Camp is the one time a child with diabetes has the opportunity to meet other kids and adults living with diabetes and feel less alone.

Operating high quality Camps for children with diabetes requires dedicated staff and adequate funds.

The American Diabetes Association is committed to providing a Camp experience for children with diabetes regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

Affordable Camp Fees

Through the American Diabetes Association’s year-round efforts to fundraise and secure financial support from individuals, clubs, organizations, corporations and foundations, each camper’s fee is subsidized by at least 50 percent.

In addition, financial assistance is available to families based on financial need.
