Nikki Lang releases CD, Time Has Stopped

When Nikki Lang was six years old, she knew what she wanted to be when she grew up—a singer/songwriter.  At age 10, she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, but never let diabetes deter her from achieving her dream.  Now 17 years old, Nikki is already living her dream. 

She released her first CD, Time Has Stopped, in 2007.

Nikki's father, Rocky Lang, a 2008 American Diabetes Association Father of the Year Award recipient, says he’s inspired by Nikki’s passion for music and acceptance of her disease.  "She is an amazing human being and in a way, my hero—the way she conducts herself in life and never complains."
