Hurricane Harvey Resources and Emergency Information

We will be continuously updating this page with information on how to access medical support, donate supplies, and find emergency resources for anyone affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Diabetes Supplies and Insulin Needs

If you have been affected by the hurricanes and need help locating diabetes supplies, please contact one of our hotlines:

For individual patients, we may have resources that can assist you: Call 1-800-DIABETES, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. CT.

For health care providers or clinics who need diabetes supplies to care for patients in affected areas: Call 1-314-INSULIN from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT.

Clinics, other health care facilities or individually licensed health care professionals needing insulins can also contact Americares at usemergency@americares.org

For people using Lilly products, contact the Lilly call center at 1-800-Lilly-RX. Lilly is working with officials and Direct Relief International to distribute insulin and other medicines to victims who cannot get to pharmacies. Additionally, Lilly offers a product disaster replacement program for those whose insurance plans do not include a “disaster override” that can replace destroyed insulin. This program will offer a 30-day supply at no charge.

If Hurricane Harvey has left you or a loved one without Omnipod® Insulin Pump System supplies, Insulet may be able to help. Call Customer Care team at 800-591-3455 (select option 2).
