6 cups water
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 large fresh artichokes
2 slices whole wheat bread
3 cloves garlic
1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
