Smokey Grilled Shrimp compliments of Light and Fit®

This Recipe Serves 4


1 x 5.3 oz. container Dannon® Light & Fit® Vanilla Greek Nonfat Yogurt
1 Tbsp. smoky BBQ sauce
1 tsp. smoked paprika
2 tsp. canola oil
1 lb. large peeled and deveined shrimp
1 seedless cucumber, thinly sliced
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar


  1. In a bowl combine: Light & Fit® Vanilla Greek Nonfat Yogurt, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika and oil; mix well. Add shrimp and toss to coat. Let marinate for 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
  2. In another bowl combine cucumbers, onions and vinegar and toss to coat. Let stand at room temperature for at least 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
  3. To Cook: Skewer shrimp (2 per skewer) and grill over high heat 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. To Serve: Drain cucumbers-onion salad and divide among 4 plates. Top each plate with 2 grilled shrimp skewers to serve.
