Lilly Diabetes Donates 91 Scholarships to Support the American Diabetes Association’s Diabetes Summer Camp Program
Today Lilly Diabetes announced its support for the American Diabetes Association’s (Association) summer camp program for the seventh year in a row with a donation of $91,000 that will send 91 children to diabetes camp this summer.

Chris Carmichael Cycling to Stop Diabetes®
The American Diabetes Association is teaming up with Chris Carmichael and challenging riders to be part of the movement to Stop Diabetes® by participating in the Tour de Cure®, a cycling event to raise funds to help fight diabetes. More than 65,000 cyclists are expected to participate in the Tour de Cure in 90 cities throughout the country in 2014. All funds raised at the Tour de Cure events will go to support the Association's mission -- to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

American Diabetes Association Announces Ann Meredith as the New Executive Director for the Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey Area
The American Diabetes Association (Association), the nation’s largest voluntary health organization leading the fight to Stop Diabetes®, is pleased to announce that Ann Meredith, a recognized non-profit leader, has been named Executive Director of the Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey area, effective January 21. Meredith will be responsible for strategic, fundraising and program initiatives, along with development of staff, volunteers, and the Community Leadership Board chaired by Joseph McHale, a senior partner with the Philadelphia-based law firm of Stradley Ronan Stevens and Young, LLP.
