Research Reviews:
Women and Diabetes
The American Diabetes Association Research Program supports basic and clinical diabetes research aimed at preventing, treating, and curing diabetes. The diabetes research projects we support cover the spectrum from islet cell biology and transplantation techniques, to studies in education and behavioral issues.
ADA-funded Researcher Database
Want to know what diabetes research is happening in your state? Check out our Diabetes Research database. This database will allow you to search for useful information on ADA-funded research grants. Searches can be done by keyword, the name of the researcher, and the type of diabetes research being performed. The database also provides brief descriptions of each project, as well as a "Researcher Profile" section where the investigator is given the opportunity to explain how his/her study is important to the field of diabetes research.
